January 2011 – Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, widely considered one of the top 2012 GOP Presidential prospects, is scheduled for numerous national media interviews this week to coincide with the 1-11-11 release of his memoir, Courage to Stand.
Scheduled for Monday evening, January 10, is Hannity on FOX News. Tuesday, January 11, appearances include ABC-TV’s Good Morning America and The View, plus an interview with FOX News’ Neil Cavuto and on CNN’s Parker Spitzer. Pawlenty interviews on Wednesday, January 12, include FOX and Friends, MSNBC’s Morning Joe, CNBC’s Squawk Box, and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. On Sunday, January 16, Governor Pawlenty will appear on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace. Last week, Governor and Mrs. Pawlenty were interviewed on ABC-TV’s Nightline. In subsequent weeks, the barrage of national, regional and local coverage will continue.
“The lineup of interviews and book signings is stellar, befitting an author who media wags and pol watchers expect will soon throw his hat into the Presidential race,” said Alive’s president Rick Christian, who inked the deal with Tyndale after a heated auction. Agent Joel Kneedler assisted in the deal-making, bringing collaborator Mark Dagostino to the table.
A schedule of Pawlenty’s in-store book-signings, slated to begin Thursday, January 13, at Barnes & Noble, 555 12th Street NW, Washington, DC, is posted at http://www.timpawlenty.com/couragetostand.
In Courage to Stand, Governor Pawlenty draws on lessons he learned growing up in a blue-collar town and serving as a Republican governor in a historically Democratic state; he also opens up about his deepest beliefs and shares his vision for an even stronger America.–RC
