Sara Horn Appears on the TODAY Show

New York, NY—September 11, 2013—Alive author, Sara Horn, was on the TODAY Show this morning where she shared insights and lessons from her book My So-Called Life as a Submissive Wife, which released this August from Harvest House Publishers.

Sara wondered if a woman could really live a happy life while choosing to submit to her husband as the Bible commands. Despite cultural pressure and the current liberated, independent role of today’s woman, Horn decided to do her own personal experiment by living in marital submission for one year.

“Sara is a strong-willed, independent woman,” said Alive agent Andrea Heinecke. “She doesn’t advocate that we go back to the days where women had no voice, but rather, offers her audience tools to improve their marriages and live in a more selfless way.”

Sara Horn is a wife, mom, author, speaker and founder of Wives of Faith, a ministry for military wives. In her previous book, My So-Called Life as a Proverbs 31 Wife, Horn tried to emulate the biblical qualities of patience, kindness and thoughtfulness for a year. -AH
