Carol Umberger is the winner of several awards for The Scottish Crown Series, including the 2001 “Golden Heart Award” from the Romance Writers of America for Circle of Honor (Book 1).

The other books in this noted series are: The Price of Freedom (Book 2) and The Mark of Salvation (Book 3) and The Promise of Peace (Book 4). Carol is a twelve-year veteran of the United States Air Force.

She lives with her husband, Tom, in Omaha, Nebraska.
