Emerson Eggerichs is the president of Love and Respect Ministries. He launched the Love and Respect Conferences in 1999 and speaks to husbands and wives at marriage conferences across the country. Previously, he was the senior pastor of East Lansing Trinity Church for nearly 20 years before devoting himself full time to building healthy marriages. Dr. Eggerichs has an M.A. in Communications from Wheaton College, a Master’s of Divinity from Dubuque Seminary and a Ph.D. in Child and Family Ecology from Michigan State University. Additionally, Eggerichs has served on the board of the National Center for Fathering, and is on the board of the Michigan Family Forum. He has also served on the committee for Michigan’s Year of the Child and Family with the state’s Lieutenant Governor. Emerson and his wife, Sarah, live in Michigan and have three adult children.
