Kathy Herman has authored eleven novels, including The Baxter Series, Poor Mrs. Rigsby, and The Seaport Suspense Series, and the first of three novels in the Phantom Hollow Series.

Two of her books, Tested by Fire and All Things Hidden were CBA national bestsellers.

Kathy and her husband Paul live in Tyler, Texas and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
