Lori Smith is a freelance writer. Her first article, “Single Minded,” appeared in Today’s Christian Woman in 2000.

For several years, she focused on writing for singles, first as the popular singles columnist on Crosswalk.com and then in her first book.

The Single Truth (Destiny Image) received acclaim from CCM Magazine and Today’s Christian Woman and was featured in a front-page article in The New York Times.She has also written for Washingtonian Magazine, Discipleship Journal, and Christian Single.

Lori is also a dynamic speaker who genuinely connects with her audience. She has spoken to singles groups across the country, including Boston, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Additionally, Lori has been part of the Publishers Weekly team covering religion publishing for more than two years.
